Motorola Moto G plagued by a recovery bug

The Motorola Moto G has just hit the market, but its early adopters have reported a wide-spread issue..

As it turns out you can’t use the stock recovery mode for wiping the cache partition. If you select this option, the phone will list the microSD card content and do nothing.

The bug has already been reported by an XDA user and Motorola promised via its Twitter account it will investigate the issue.

@dstoro Interesting – thanks. Will get to the right people.

We guess Motorola will releases a fix shortly, but until that comes you may want to keep away from its stock recovery. You know, just to be on the safe side.
